Space

I have extensive experience in the Space Industry, having worked as the Systems Manager on Solar Array Drive Mechanisms (SADM's) and Space Mechanicsms Specialist.

I assumed technical responsibility fulfilling many varied roles, producing technical documentation to ECSS requirements and managing test regimes, becoming the vibration and shock specialist at the company in Norway.

    Solar Orbiter

    Space mechanisms specialist

What heats up the suns's corona to millions of degrees Celsius? What drives its 11-year cycle of rising and subsiding magnetic activity? What drives the generation of solar wind, accelerating them to speeds of hundreds of km per second?.

Just some of the questions Solar Orbiter hopes to answer at a distance of just 42 million km from the sun at its perigee.
